Just received the hat and wore it for a solid week at the beach. Very comfortable and cool. Not a true orange, more of a burnt orange.

Even without wind these hats are fantastic.

Coming from years of wearing Tilley hats these are a big upgrade

And the no flop brim gives you a solid point to adjust/ remove the hat by
One reason why we all love baseball caps is the simplicity of on /off and adjustments yes we like to advertise also but as I age that’s less important
But baseball caps don’t keep sun off of my ears or neck and can be warm
The Shelta hat solves all of these issues and more
I now have three love my bright red but so does every bee and wasp around (in summer anyway
The brown duck is a super color and the bugs go away compared to the red.
Guess these things are like lays potato chips cant have just one
See black in my future for winter use.

Excellent, lightweight, perfect for purpose

I use this for running, and it's important that the sweat stays out of my eyes and the sun stays off my head. I've tried other tech hats, but they are bulkier and don't fit as well. After losing my first Shelta I had to have another. I took this out of the package, put it on my head, and it was pure perfection. It stays put and does its job without drawing my attention to itself.
