The Legionnaire is an updated version of our neck shield, featuring two buttonholes, four buttons and a locker loop for added versatility. Like the original neck shade, It can attach on top of the brim using the button holes & toggles. Using the buttons it can also now fit underneath the brim of all our new 2024 hat styles. A locker loop ensures a secure attachment if needed. Crafted from the same UPF 50+ eco-tech fabric, it offers flexible protection—worn at the back for neck coverage or up front for face protection. The Legionnaire is designed for both our slim and wide brimmed styles, providing additional sun protection when required.
I bought this for a Firebird 2. The attachment system for that hat doesn't work for me. I doubt I'll ever use this. I was operating with the thought that all the hats would allow for all three attachment methods. This wasn't the case.

It works!
Light weight, just the right size. Doesnt get in the way. You hardly know its there. You have to keep the chin strap on but you can tuck that to the back. I have a hat just for being in the yard and it works great.

I bought this even though my hat has only two holes in the brim. Works just fine. I bought the bright orange to match my hat. Lightweight and provides great coverage.
