I recently purchased two of the Assault L/S print hoodies for my trip to Cabo. That Hoodie is a game changer. I really like the fit and the thumb holes as I was able to wear it while swimming. Also the loop for the drawstring helps to keep it from riding uo in the water. Awesome product!
I really like this shirt. It fits perfectly, it is very well made. I wear it on my fly fishing outings and it is perfect. I had bought one and liked it so much I bought a second one!
Just as described on the website. Fits me perfectly and feels great! Doesn’t feel like cheap material. Yet it’s very light.
Sun protection with Hand protection built in. And, a small zipper pocket. Fantastic. Not the lightest sun shirt out there but with these features it adds a lot without adding significant bulk. Great shirt.
Wore this shirt all day while recently visiting area near Rapid City, South Dakota. I detest wearing sunscreen lotion. This shirt is great. Now Shelta needs a line of pants

Nice shirt and hat.
It's fine. Because the job with some nice features, but it's so dang long. I normally wear a size large, but Sheltas large is way too huge, so I sent it back to get a medium. The medium fits fine everywhere except the bottom which is ridiculously long for seemingly no good reason. I'm an average size man at 5 ft 8 in. There's no reason why this thing should fit me like a girl's sleep shirt. I'm hoping it shrinks up over time. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't make the back of it even longer. I didn't need the extra length.
I ordered a large size in order to make sure the shirt would not be restrictive. It fits well, feels good, and the option to use the gloves is great. I'll be wearing the shirt in the future weeks when kayaking on rivers here in Florida.
Very airy and tons of protection. I think it’s a very well thought out design, especially with the pocket in the back and the way the hands are protected when you go through the thumb and finger loop to keep the back of your hands from getting burned.

I spend as much time fishing as I can which exposes me to a lot of reflected sun. I have skin cancer and HATE applying sunscreen so this is the perfect solution. I only have to apply sunscreen to my face and the rest of my upper body is protected by the hoodie. With either a baseball cap under the hoodie or my Shelta hat over the top I'm supremely comfortable when fishing. Love this hoodie!!
I got this shirt just before a trip to Costa Rica. I wore it in the jungle as well as in the waves at the beach. The excellent coverage on my head and hands made a huge difference and it is truly one of the most comfortable shirts I have ever owned for this purpose. The drawstrings are affective and having a small pocket was clutch. Later this summer, I will be testing it out in the desert – I may even get a second one so I can switch it up. I highly recommend this sun shirt.
The Shelta Assault is outstanding for playing in the surf with my kids, going on long walks, or fishing. The hood and hand covers are awesome features for the intense Florida sun. I plan on buying another one. Love that I can attach my Shelta hat lanyard to the neck for safe keeping.
Started with a Seahawk while on active duty with the USCG. Added a Firebird V2 to the collection when I retired and moved out to AZ. Loved it so much I bought one for each of my boys- 14 and 9 (fit perfectly- M/L and S/M). AZ will cook a ginger family in the summer so I needed something more. This shirt absolutely fits the bill. The hood covers generously without being obnoxious and the sleeves are even made to cover the back of your hands if desired- who woulda thought?! I love it so much I’ll be adding a few more to the queue shortly. If you don’t have one, get one. You won’t regret it.
