I purchased one of these hats 8 years ago and another one a couple years later. They have held up amazingly and I still wear them just about every single day with irrigation and landscape work. The fabric the fit the protection and overall quality is amazing.
The Firebird hat has a great front brim that stays rigid. And, it floats which is the best.
I was hesitant paying $80 for a hat. Finally pulled the trigger after getting my cheap sunhat wet, collapsing in my face. This hat is great for all outdoor activities. Performs well on the boat at speed. This video says it all. I was laughing watching my buddy struggle with his standard sunhat!
