I’ve worn many different brands, Shelta is the one takes couple years to wear out if it’s a daily piece of equipment which for me it is. You will only lose one, after that you realize what a prized possession it is in your out door appearal!!!

The hat is well made and was packaged well. It's adjustable and made of nice fabric. I just found that it's too big aesthetically for my liking. The Raptor is supposed to be the narrow version of these hats, but it's still very long in the back and front. Also, the sport cap is still very generous in volume so it feels like a normal boonie hat, not a running hat on the head.

Purchased this hat for those sunny days fishing on the river. I fish from a boat and need a hat that will stay on while running the boat and will protect me from the sun. I love the cap like bill.

Great hat, I think it’s perfect for hunting/fishing. Brim blocks the sun but does catch on brush.
